Michelle Williams is married! She and musician Phil Elverum (stage name Mount Eerie) had a secret wedding ceremony earlier this month.
Williams and Elverum kept their relationship out of the public eye until now. The two got married in upstate New York. There were only a handful of friends and the couple’s two children in attendance.

Both have daughters from previous marriages. Elverum was previously married to musician and illustrator Geneviève Castrée, who died of cancer in 2016. As many know, Williams was married to Heath Ledger, though the two divorced a year before his death in 2008.
“Don’t settle for something that feels like a prison, or is hard, or hurts you,” Williams told Vanity Fair. “If it doesn’t feel like love, it’s not love.”
