Kate Spade’s Suicide Note Had Message For Daughter

So sad. Fashion designer Kate Spade was found dead yesterday in her Manhattan apartment. The handbag maven appeared to have committed suicide by hanging. According to police sources, she left behind a note telling her 13-year-old daughter not to blame herself and to “ask Daddy.”

“At this point, there was a note left. The contents of that note, as well as the physical state of the apartment and the comments of the witness, lend to the credibility that it is an apparent suicide,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea said.

I’m still in shock. She’ll be missed.
