Camila Cabello Just Entered Exclusive Territory On The Charts
Camila Cabello is not only the first female artist in 3 years to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, she’s the youngest woman to do it ever.

Camila Cabello is hot – not just because she puts hand-warmers in her pants, we mean hot as in she’s basically dominating the charts with her album “Cabello.”
Camila is the first woman in 3 years to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, following Meghan Trainor who did it in 2015, and Ariana Grande when she did it in 2013. She also joins a group of women who first were part of a group that hit the Billboard 200, but then hit #1 when they went solo. In that group, we’ve got Gwen Stefani, Beyoncé, Stevie Nicks, Diana Ross, and Selena Gomez. Did you Selena Gomez was in a group before going solo? They were called “Selena Gomez & The Scene,” and they released 3 albums before she went solo. Fun fact.
BUT, Camila is also the youngest person to debut at #1 since Shawn Mendes in 2015 when he was just 16. That makes her, of course, second youngest artist to debut at #1, and the youngest female to do so at all. She’s just started her solo career, and already has a lot going for her. She’ll go far, we’re sure.
