Get ready, party people! KQED reports the California State Senate passed Senate Bill 905, also known as the late-night bar bill. If signed into law, it would make serving alcohol until 4am legal in 7 cities: Long Beach, LA, Oakland, Palm Springs, Sacramento, San Francisco and West Hollywood, as part of a pilot program. It just needs to make it through the State Assembly before it makes it to the governor’s desk. Then it’ll be official! I’m too old to stay up that late, but this would’ve been awesome in my heyday.
