It’s not too surprising with the recent spike in cases in Sacramento County that some of our favorite eateries would be affected.
Zocalo announced on it’s Instagram account that the midtown location will be closing until Saturday due to two employees testing positive for COVID-19.
They mentioned that both employees had not been in the restaurant for about 10 days, but decided to shut down anyway in order to sanitize the entire place and let the employees regroup.
“With cases rising in our community, we knew that Zócalo was not immune to the pandemic. Despite our absolute best efforts to prevent it, we have been made aware of two separate (COVID)-19 test results within our midtown restaurant,” Zocalo wrote.
