Zedd Confirms He’s Been Working On Music With Katy Perry

After repeatedly receiving fan questions if Katy Perry and Zedd are collaborating, the DJ finally confirmed rumors.
In fairness, it was Perry herself who first sparked rumors of a joint release. She asked fans on Instagram if they should work together, reports Official Charts.
The two are currently on the road together for the Australian and New Zealand legs of Perry’s Witness tour. Zedd directly addressed the rumors in a recent interview, saying:
“I’m always relatively open about the fact that I make a lot of music with people. It doesn’t always come out, but we’ve been working. I always wanted to release a song with her, so if we all get lucky, then maybe we’ll finish the song and it will come out.”

So… the good news is that there is something happening behind the scenes. The bad news, of course, is that it may never see the light of day.
If it does release, though, it could potentially become the next “Middle,” which is seeing immense success.
