Uber And Lyft Are Offering Discounted Rides For Election Day

BIG THANK YOU to all who got their vote in early, Election Day is on Tuesday, Nov. 6th! According to Buzzfeed, it’s estimated that over 15 million people were registered but didn’t vote in 2016 because of transportation issues. Thanks to Uber and Lyft, they’re making it EASY to get polls this year. Both companies have partnered with voting organizations, allowing them to provide FREE or DISCOUNTED rides to polling places on Nov. 6 according to Uber and Lyft websites. Both rideshare companies offered free rides to those in underserved communities through local organizations to use for a free ride to and from the polls on Tuesday.
