New York Enacts Transfat Ban

New York City?s plan to eliminate foods containing trans fats went into the final stage today. Started a year ago, the trans-fat ban began in restaurants and applied only to spreads and frying oils. Beginning on Tuesday the ban extends to items such as baked goods, frozen foods, and doughnuts.
