A Trailer Just Dropped For Donald Glover And Rihanna’s Secret Project
New details have been released, from a recent trailer about the secret collaboration project between Donald Glover and Rihanna.

After rumors swirled over the summer about a secret collaboration between Donald Glover and Rihanna, new details about their project have released.
According to Nylon, a surprise trailer for the project was shown during Glover’s Pharos Festival in New Zealand. A video of the event seemed to confirm previous speculation of what the project might be. The trailer appeared to tease a new movie from Glover and Rihanna, called Guava Island.

The movie will reportedly take place in Cuba, with several people set to star in the film. In addition to Glover and Rihanna, Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie will also star. The film is being directed by Hiro Murai. Murai works with Glover on Atlanta, and also directed the video for “This Is America”.

A few details about the movie were gathered from the trailer. Glover appears to play a struggling musician, and Rihanna plays his girlfriend. Details on the plot remain unclear, with a possible clue coming from a line from Glover: “We live in paradise, but none of us actually have the time or the means to live here.”
No word has been given about when this project may release, but we can’t wait for news on a release date!
