Tom Hiddleston Returning As Loki For New Disney Streaming Show

Disney announced that Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as Loki, for a new Marvel TV series premiereing on Disney’s upcoming streaming service.

Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as Loki, for a new Disney Marvel series coming to their streaming service.

According to the Daily Mail, this announcement comes alongside Disney’s revelation of the official name for their upcoming streaming service. The service will be called Disney+, with reports stating that it will be possibly be launching by the end of next year.

No official word has been given yet on the story details or release date for the new Marvel series with Hiddleston. Disney’s CEO and chairman, Bob Isner, revealed that the series will center around Hiddleston and his fan-favorite Marvel character.

Hiddleston recently appeared as his character, Loki, in this summer’s box-office smash, Avengers: Infinity War, and last year’s Thor: Ragnarok.

In addition to the announcement of the new Marvel series, Disney also revealed a new Star Wars TV series is currently in the works for the streaming service as well. Based off the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the series will follow Diego Luna’s character, Cassian Andor, and take place before the events of the movie.
