As the numbers filing for unemployment benefits continue to break records because of the coronavirus, major companies like Google, LinkedIn and more have teamed up for a new site that helps displaced Californians find new jobs.

The site is called OnwardCA.org and its mission is to be a: “One-stop resource for the people of California impacted
by job loss during the COVID-19 Pandemic”.
The site says that help you and your family if you’ve been displaced by your job because of the corona virus, teach you new skills for a new job and they even want to help you find that new job!
“Losing your job amidst a pandemic is traumatic. OnwardCA is a resource that has been rapidly deployed by a broad coalition of companies, foundations, and humans who want to help. Help you get money or groceries or child care; help you upskill, reskill, or refresh; and help you land a great new job.
We’re in this together.”
