There’s A New Reese’s Doughnut And I Want It [PIC]
There’s a new Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg doughnut, and we’re sad that people would judge us for eating an entire dozen of them.

Reese’s Doughnut. Yes, you read that correctly, there’s a new Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg Doughnut, and it sounds glorious and I’m about to drive across town to get one. If you’re a chocolate and/or peanut butter fan, there’s no doubt that you probably love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. What’s better than those are the Reese’s eggs. I don’t know why, they just are. Now for the doughnut, and I must try one. Or two.
Ok, the details are coming up now, I promise. Krispy Kreme is the place that is making them, and they’re here for a limited time only, obviously, since they’re kind of spring/Easter-themed. To be completely honest, we’re probably going to discover that they’re sold out at all the local stores, but that’s not going to stop me from trying.
The Reese’s Egg doughnut is part of their new “spring lineup,” and will be “kreme”-filled with a peanut butter flavored mix of their usual filling. The top is decorated like an easter egg. Krispy Kreme do sell a regular Reese’s doughnut as well, which we also haven’t tried for some reason, so maybe trying out both will be the right way to do it. Just because, you know, peanut butter and chocolate.

Krispy Kreme also announced a new flavor for a glaze they’re trying out – lemon. It won a “fan’s choice” contest, so they’re going to try it out for a week next month and see how it does and how people respond to it. They also announced that they’re going to release another two flavors of doughnuts a little bit later, and they only teased that they’ve partnered with “some of America’s most popular cookies.”

Do you like Reese’s peanut butter cups and their eggs for spring time? Planning on trying one of the new Reese’s doughnuts (though it’s not actually “Reese’s,” just inspired by their flavor). Or is this going to be a firm “pass” from you? Check out some more details about the new doughnut here. Any idea what kind of wine can be paired with this?
