The “Friends” Reunion Special Might Not Happen! Here’s Why

Welp, there goes our chances of seeing the whole Friends cast reunite one more time in Central Perk for coffee!

Remember when Jennifer Aniston teased a potential ‘Friends’ reunion on Ellen? If you don’t, watch below for a refresh!

A few months ago, Deadline.com reported a rumor that there was a ‘Friends’ reunion special in the works with the entire cast. It was going to air on the upcoming HBO Max service. Well, it might not be happening after all.

Deadline.com says the negotiations have come to a standstill, with the cast and studio VERY far apart on money. An HBO exec says, quote, “There is interest all around . . . [but] today it’s just maybe.”

So, in other words, don’t hold your breath on seeing the gang reunite one more time for coffee in Central Perk!
