The CDC Warns NorCal Schools To Prepare For Possible Coronavirus Outbreaks

Children across the world are wearing protective face masks in classrooms to prevent the coronavirus and now NorCal school districts are preparing for a possible virus outbreak, here’s what you need to know…

The Elk Grove, Travis, and Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District said they were notified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to prepare for possible novel coronavirus outbreaks on Wednesday, February 26 according to KCRA. School officials said they have plans in place for preventative measures of the coronavirus. The school districts are encouraging all students and teachers to:

  • Frequently wash their hands,
  • Cover their nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing
  • Stay home if they are sick.
