Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Times reported that Ariana Grande had plunked down nearly $14 million for a new ultra-modern house in the Hollywood Hills. But now it turns out that wasn’t the only major real estate purchase the singer’s made lately.
Sources tell The Times that in addition to that property, Ariana also bought a retreat in Montecito, CA for $6.75 million. The English Tudor-style home was reportedly flipped by Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi.
The home, called The Porter House, has more than an acre of property. It was built in the 1980s out of two antique barns from the English countryside. The charming property is pretty small for a superstar: It only has two bedrooms and three bathrooms. However, it does have a huge fireplace, cathedral ceilings and two chef’s kitchens.
According to the Times, the humorous video that Ariana and Lady Gaga made to promote their collab “Rain On Me” was partly shot in the master suite bathtub in this Montecito home.
What’s prompted this property-buying spree? Could have something to do with Ariana’s alleged boyfriend, L.A. real estate agent Dalton Gomez.
