Silicon Valley actor T.J. Miller was arrested for calling in a false bomb threat on a train. He reportedly did so to get back at a woman he had an argument with on the train. He was arrested on Monday (Apr. 9) night over the incident that happened back in March.

While aboard an Amtrak train from Washington D.C. to New York, T.J. called in the bomb threat to the Feds. He claimed that a woman on the train was continually checking her bag and seemed to want to get off the train. According to the documents, the responding officer asked if T.J. suffered from mental illness, to which the actor replied:

“This is the first time I’ve ever made a call like this before. I am worried for everyone on that train. Someone has to check that lady out.”

Authorities believe that T.J. made up the threat in order to get back at the woman. He was removed from the train after exchanging profanities with the lady in the First Class car. The woman admitted to the argument, and a train attendant came forward to say she was not acting suspicious.

As if this whole ordeal isn’t already ridiculous enough, here’s something even more crazy… T.J. gave the wrong train number to the police. This caused an entirely different train heading to Connecticut to stop for a search, which caused huge delays, reports TMZ.

T.J. caused 926 man hours-worth of delays and the bomb squad in both Connecticut and New York to deploy.

The actor has since posted the $100,000 bond and has been released from jail.
