Former Spice Girls member Mel B is the process of writing a new memoir called Brutally Honest. However, she’s truly living up to the title by revealing some very personal and scary life moments…

According to Radar Online, the singer describes two suicide attempts in the upcoming book. The first incident happened at the age of 14 when she was living with her parents. She swallowed a number of Anadin Plus pills, but survived.

The second took place in 2014 while Mel B was a judge on X Factor. This time, she ingested 200 Anadin pills and had to have her stomach pumped at the hospital. While she never revealed a reason behind the first attempt, the second one was due to how unhappy she was with her marriage to former husband, Stephen Belafonte. As many know, the singer and her ex have been going through a bitter divorce and custody battle since last year.

We hope Mel B is in a better place now, and we wish her the best with everything.
