Exciting Barbie news! Mattel releases new ‘Day of the Dead’ Barbie in honor of the Mexican holiday!

Mattel is making Dia de Los Muertos or Day of the Dead very special this year! The mega toy company announced they’re celebrating the annual Mexican holiday, in which people honor their departed loved ones with a Dia de Los Muertos Barbie.

According to USA Today, the Dia De Muertos Barbie will be available in stores at Target and Walmart TODAY. The special edition Barbie is also available directly from Mattel too. Mattel said the doll “honors the traditions, symbols, and rituals often seen throughout this time,” Check out the doll below – I think she looks amazing but I’m not too crazy about the price – $75!
