SMUD has hundreds of thousands of dollars in unclaimed cash! Is some of it yours?

KCRA.com reports that SMUD has $380,000 in unclaimed money that they want to get back to their customers. Where did all of this money come from? A spokesperson for SMUD says: “In many cases what’s going on is that the customer starts service, they leave a deposit, and later on they move.”
