Not gonna lie, I’ve been way too chicken to watch Netflix’s NEW original film ‘Bird Box’ starring Sandra Bullock, mainly because of EVERYONE saying how scary it is. Based on the 2014 thriller novel, Sandra Bullock plays a mom-of-two living in a post-apocalyptic world under the threat of something supernatural where if the characters open their eyes, they’ll be infected with something that will force them to violently kill themselves. She is forced to take a two-day journey blindfolded with her kids up a dangerous river to try to save her family. Press Play to watch the trailer below!

Thrilling right? After a lot of convincing, I finally saw it and YAASS it was very thrilling, creepy, and Sandra Bullock in this role reminds us why she’s an Oscar-winning actress. ‘Bird Box’ breaks Netflix records with over 45 million views in just days according to Netflix. The original Netflix movie has broken ALL records on the platform in its first seven days of streaming, breaking the record previously held by ‘Bright’ starring Will Smith as the most popular opening for a Netflix original film.
