YAASS! We made it through another work or school week – time to step out and have some fun now! Get your family and friends ready, there are SO many cool events happening now through Sunday. I curated these events worth knowing about, here’s your Sactown 411 Weekend Event Guide:

Dine Downtown

When/Time: Now – Monday, January 21st

Where: Downtown Sacramento 

Start building up your appetite, Dine Downtown is back this year and it’s bigger and better than ever! Look out for restaurants deal now through January 21st! Many of your fave restaurants are offering a 3-course meal for only $35! Winnie the Pooh Day

When/Time: Friday, Jan 18, 2019 at 09:00 am – 05:00 pm

Where: Sacramento Children’s Museum, Rancho Cordova CA

This weekend is the celebration of the birthday of A.A. Milne, beloved children’s book author and creator of Winnie the Pooh, special activities throughout the day include Story Time, arts and crafts, and more fun inspired by Pooh Bear’s antics in the Hundred Acre Wood. Women’s March Sacramento 2019

When/Time: Saturday, 10 AM

Where: State Capitol

Folsom Historic District Ice Rink

When/Time: Now – January 21st/ 10a-9:30p 

Where: Historic Old Folsom

Experience the coolest place in town, the Folsom Historic District Ice Rink before it’s too late! Only 2 more weeks left to get your ice skating on before they pack up for the season. Skates and “skate assists”—similar to walkers—are available to rent at the rink. Adult $12, Kids (Ages 8 and under) and Seniors (Ages 62+) Session $10, Skate Rental $3. Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink

When/Time: Now – January 21st/ Weekend hours, 10a-11p, Weekday 2p-9p

Where: 7th and K streets in downtown Sacramento

Only 2 more weeks to get your ice skating on at the city’s longest-running outdoor ice rink, the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink before they pack up for the season. $13 for all day skates included, $6 for children 6 years old and under, ice Scooter $5 for 30 minutes. Get more info HERE!
