Memorial Day is just around the corner and if you’re looking for plans you’ve come to the right place! We’ve compiled a list of fun events for you and the whole family!

  1. Memorial Day Car Show
    When: May 27, 2019
    Where: California Automobile Museum, 2200 Front Street
    Time: 9am-2pm
    Admission: $2
    The California Automobile Museum is honoring service members both past and present at the annual Vettes and Vets car show. The museum will be donating the $2 spectator admission to the Veteran’s Resource Center. There will be music, cars, and food! Swing by to support two local non profits!
  2. Sacramento Memorial Day River Cruise
    When
    : May 27, 2019
    Where: L Street Dock, 1206 Front St, Sacramento, CA 95814
    Time: 12p-1p
    Admission: Adults $20
    Seniors (Ages 55+) & Military $18
    Children (Ages 4-12) $10
    Kids (Ages 3 and under) Free
    Come join Hornblower Cruises and learn fun facts about the Sacramento water-ways and take in the scenic Sacramento view with this hour-long narrated river cruise!
  3. 2019 Memorial Day 1 Mile, 5K & 10K – Sacramento
    When: May 27, 2019 & May 31, 2019
    Where: Sacramento, CA
    Time: Mon, May 27, 2019, 1:00pm –
    Fri, May 31, 2019, 2:00pm
    Admission: $9-$30
    Join the virtual Memorial Day race and honor all those who have died while serving in the country’s armed forces. The race will be donating at least 15% of each registration to Operation Gratitude! 
  4. Sacramento County Fair
    When: May 23-27, 2019
    Where: Cal Expo, Sacramento, CA 95851   
    Time: 10am-10pm
    Admission: $6
    A family friendly event with farm animals, carnival rides, food and shopping! Affordable fun for everyone!
  5. Story Time at Railroad Museum
    When: Mon, May 27 2019
    Where:  California State Railroad Museum, 125 I Street
    Time: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
    Admission: Free
