A new study from MagnifyMoney ranked Sacramento #3 in the nation on a list of the “Best U.S. Cities for Working Women in 2018”! Only Washington, D.C. and Minneapolis came in above us!

The study took into account factors like: the unemployment rate among women here, number of female business owners and managers, the percentage gap in the wage gap between men and women here, the rate of women with health insurance and more.

So what is Sacramento doing right? The study says that we (California) have the best “coverage laws for mothers and pregnant women, boosting the Sacramento, Calif., metro area up on our list to No. 3 overall.”
