Ryan Murphy Has Released First Teaser Of New ‘AHS’ Season

Show creator, Ryan Murphy, recently shared a new teaser trailer for the upcoming season of ‘American Horror Story’, which is set to release this fall.

Ryan Murphy, creator of the hit show American Horror Story, just released the teaser for the newest season.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Murphy dropped the teaser on social media, revealing the new theme for the ninth season. This season of American Horror Story will reportedly be called 1984, and appears to be an homage to classic slasher films of the era. In the teaser trailer, a young woman is seen running through the woods while being chased by a mysterious masked killer with a knife. The woman hides in an old cabin only to be seemingly discovered by the slasher, calling back to the famous Friday the 13th films.

Details on the season remain a mystery, with the only cast details being the return of series regular, Emma Roberts. Additionally, Olympian Gus Kenworth has been announced as a cast member, acting as the significant other for Roberts’ character. Series regular, Evan Peters, also recently revealed that he would not be returning for this particular season of AHS.
