Russia Banned From 2018 Winter Olympics
the International Olympic Committee announced today that Russia will be banned from the 2018 Winter Olympics after the country was caught running a ‘massive doping scheme.’

Wow this is huge news especially since the 2018 Winter Olympics are right around the corner.
the International Olympic Committee announced today that Russia will be banned from the 2018 Winter Olympics after the country was caught running a “massive doping scheme”.
This means the country won’t be able to compete representing the nation and the Russian flag will not be flown at the games. Even further, officials from Russia won’t be allowed into PyeongChang, South Korea.
It gets even crazier. Athletes who can prove they weren’t doping can compete under a neutral flag.
