This is major news for art collectors, according to Bloomberg, abstract oil painting ‘Juin-Octobre 1985’, the largest work by Franco-Chinese artist Zao Wou-Ki, sold for $65m, a world auction record for Zao Wou-Ki and world auction record for an oil painting by an Asian artist.
