Real Estate Developer Donates $1k To Each Student And Staff Of Paradise High School
Bob Wilson is a real estate developer, and he just wanted to help the students and teachers of Paradise High School, so he gave each of them $1,000.

Paradise High School survived the Camp Fire, but many of the students and staff lost their homes. Bob Wilson, a real estate developer in San Diego, felt compelled to help out. He donated a little over $1 million to the high school staff and students, split evenly, writing a check for $1,000 to each student and faculty member.
Bob Wilson says that he really just wanted to help the students and faculty members a bit. Bob says “High school had a tremendous impact on me… I’m 90 years old and I still have those memories of high school. And I said, ‘Look. If I can do something for these kids that will give them a little breathing room, take away from this conflagration that came about, that’s what I’m going to do.'” And that’s exactly what he did – he made the promise last week. Yesterday, he delivered. I menahe literally delivered, he was there to personally hand everyone a check for $1,000.
Bob has no ties to Northern California, and he says the money has no restrictions. The students and staff can do whatever they want with the money. Buy gas, buy food, help their families, etc. Many families never actually believed it would happen, but there he was, handing out checks. A seriously big, generous move by Mr. Wilson, and one that will very likely never be forgotten. 980 students, and 105 staff members, including the Principal and even the bus drivers, all got $1k. $1.085 million in total, just because he wanted to help.
