Put Up Your Christmas Decorations Early, It Makes You Happier Says Science

If you’re counting the seconds until you can get your Christmas decorations out of storage and put them up but you don’t want them to be up too early, the sooner the better says science!

If you’re counting the seconds until you can get your Christmas decorations out of storage and put them up but you don’t want them to be up too early, the sooner the better says science!

Goodhousekeeping.com says that your Christmas decorations could make you happier! A psychoanalyst said that Christmas decorations remind us of childhood and brings back “those old childhood magical emotions of excitement.” So putting them up early means you get to enjoy those feelings even longer! Another cool thing they found is that when your decorations are up, other people that you’re “accessible” and that “people perceive people with holiday decor to be more friendly and cohesive.”
