The Pumpkin Spice Latte is just about here for fall, and it’s expected to have an earlier release date than even last year.

It’s still summer, as evident by the heat (duh). BUT, if you’re already ready for fall and your warm cup of PSL, you might be in luck early this year.

Some rumors are going around that Starbucks is already getting their supplies in for the Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Last year the drink came out on September 1st. That already seems a little early for the fall season, but this year it might be even earlier. Some Starbucks baristas are reporting that the drink might be coming out as early as August 26th this year. Yes, that’s only a few days earlier than last year, but early is early, guys.

They’re also saying that while some stores have been receiving the ingredients for the drink, they haven’t received instruction yet. Starbucks is pretty good at keeping secrets, even from their own employees. So for now, the ingredients are sitting there in the store. In theory, they could start making the drinks now, but have to wait for specific instructions from the corporate offices. Boo! Here’s the original story.
