Post Malone was the target of a recent burglary that left one man injured. However, the thieves made a big mistake because they broke into the wrong house…

According to TMZ, three male suspects smashed into a San Fernando Valley home on September 1st.

Inside the home was one resident who the thieves pistol whipped and harassed. The burglars reportedly demanded to know where Post Malone was, before they set about stealing $20,000 worth of electronics, jewelry, and cash.

While the rapper had indeed been a resident at that home in the past, he moved away months prior. On top of that, the person living there now had no connection to Malone outside of living in his former home.

Police are now trying to figure out if there is a connection between this robbery and one that took place later that night. In that incident, thieves stole a safe from a home where rap duo Rae Sremmurd was staying.

With celebrity home burglaries on the rise, we hope police can catch these criminals soon.
