Placerville is getting their first Target!

The nearest Target store to the folks in Placerville is 17 miles away – but that’s about to change!

SacBee.com says that Target is coming to Placerville! It’ll open where the old Kmart store was in Prospector’s Plaza near the intersection of Missouri Flat Road and Mother Lode Drive. It’s expected to be open by next summer. 

The article says that currently the nearest Target to Placerville is located 17  miles away in El Dorado Hills.
