Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s daughter, wants photo editors to stop messing with her skin tone.
The 19-year-old vented her frustration with people Photoshopping her skin, saying:
“i appreciate everything y’all make for me, i enjoy every single edit i see. but please stop lightening my skin to make me look more white. and please stop darkening my skin to make me look more mixed. i am what i am. i’m aware of what i look like and i finally happy with it..”

This issue is relevant to Paris because her dad dealt with skin issues during his lifetime. Michael had Vitiligo, a disease that affects skin pigmentation. The famous performer bleached his skin to hide it.
Overall, Paris has a fair point! Playing with skin color should be off limits.
