If you’re tired of using the same old bookcase or blank wall as the backdrop to your Zoom calls and meetings and are looking for something that expresses your personality a little more, Sony Music is coming to your rescue.
The label is launching Iconic Music Backgrounds: Downloadable images from famous album covers and music videos that allow you to be part of the picture.
Among the backgrounds to choose from: Britney Spears‘ Oops…I Did It Again, and …Baby One More Time album covers, ‘N SYNC’s No Strings Attached album cover, Khalid‘s Free Spirit cover, and the cover of the 2019 release from LSD, the supergroup featuring Sia, Diplo and Labrinth.
If you’re a fan of classic hop-hop, you can also choose the cover of Nas‘ iconic 1994 album Illmatic or the Wu-Tang Clan‘s landmark 1993 debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).
Not into pop or hip-hop? The 1990 release Painkiller by Judas Priest is available for you metal fans. Meanwhile, your grandparents might enjoy using the cover of 1963’s The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan for making their quarantine check-in calls — if they can figure out how to use Zoom.
And if you’re feeling silly, you can even insert yourself into the video for “Baby Shark.”
