One-Third Of Us Regret Something From Our Office Party
The office holiday party can be a fun event for the office, but for a lot of people it can be a great source of regret.

Office holiday parties are a great way to get the office together and sort of de-stress a little. Some of us go a little too far with the relaxing though, and end up doing something we regret. It happens. I promise I’ve never spilled a drink on our HR person, nope, wasn’t me.
So one-third of us actually regret something done at an office holiday party. It can be any number of things, like just having too many drinks, all the way to, you know, waking up the next day with a coworker. There are a lot of other fun facts about office holiday parties as well. Take, for example, office gossip. At parties, we hear on average about 7 new things about people we work with. Also, nearly 40% of us have actually witnesses some kind of romantic hook-up AT the party.
Another 35% of us have seen the person from the office who is normally quiet and reserved become the “life” of the party. It’s fascinating how different people can be when they become relaxed outside of the office. Over one-quarter of us have NEVER missed an office holiday party.
