One Or More Mountain Lions Reportedly Spotted in Roseville
The Roseville Police Department is reportedly investigating two sightings of mountain lions in West Roseville.

Mountain lions in California are common and mountain lion sightings in Roseville are not uncommon but CBSSacramento.com reports that the Roseville Police Department is reportedly investigating two sightings of mountain lions in Roseville.
The reports came from the West Roseville area. It’s unclear if both reports are of the same animal or two different cats. The Roseville Police Department and Animal Control are aware of the situation.
The article says that while sightings are not uncommon, mountain lions encountering humans are very rare. They say that if you do find yourself face-to-face with a big cat: “Don’t approach it, stay calm, back away slowly and make yourself look larger.”
