Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License” becomes first song to reach one billion global streams in 2021
Olivia Rodrigo‘s hit single “Drivers License” has driven itself all the way to becoming the first single of 2021 to reach one billion global streams.
The 18-year-old singer’s hit debut single, which was released on January 8, surpassed the nine-figure milestone in the week ending on March 25, Billboard reports, when the week’s totals brought her to a whopping 1.033 billion streams.
Trailing behind the smash record with just over 685 million streams this year is BTS‘ “Dynamite.”
“Drivers License” is the lead single off of Olivia’s upcoming debut album, *O*R, due out on May 21. Her second single “Deja Vu” dropped on April 1.
