NOW Glowing FAQ

What if I’m not an advanced runner? Can I still participate?
Anyone and everyone is welcome to run with us! You can run, dance, skip, stroll, jog, trot, dash, walk or just listen to music!

What does NOW Glowing 5K do for Charity?
We provide our non-profit partners Running for Rhett with financial donations, publicity and visibility at our events, and more.

What do I get when I sign up for NOW Glowing 5K?
You get NOW Glowing glow items, participation in the 5K run, admission into the pre-run Glow party with DJs, a performance by Mary Lambert plus admission into the post run concert featuring the Goo Goo Dolls.

Kids?
NOW Glowing 5K is for Families. Kids and/or Families are welcome to come out for the run or concert.

Pets?
We love family pets as much as anybody – but they aren’t allowed at NOW Glowing 5K.

Packet Pick Up?
We will post information about Packet Pick Up a week or two before the event. Make sure you like NOW1005FM on Facebook so you can stay tuned to all of our announcements!

How will I know my time for running the 5k?
We don’t time NOW Glowing 5K. If you would like to be timed please bring a stop watch or iPhone!

Can I bring friends or family to support me?
Everyone is welcome at NOW Glowing 5K, but no one is allowed inside Sleep Train Pavilion without paying an entrance fee.

Can I register the day of the Event?
We expect a sell out before the event, but check our website or facebook page before you come. Registration at the event in the rare case it is available will be $5 more than online and glow gear will be available on a first come – first serve basis.

How do I transfer my registration to another person?
If you’re not able to attend NOW Glowing 5K your registration is nontransferable and nonrefundable.

Refunds?
Like most live events, we don’t offer refunds. NOW Glowing is a rain or shine event.

Is there a fee to park?
Yes, there is a $12 parking fee per vehicle.

Do I have to run or can I just come for the concert?
No, you don’t have to run the race. You can simply stay inside Sleep Train Arena while the runners complete the race

Is this event all ages?
Yes

Can I bring my own glow gear?

Will There be food and alcohol available for purchase?

What is the schedule?
6:30pm: Packet Pickup begins and doors open
6:30pm: Live DJ Set
7:45pm – 8:15pm: Pre-Glow Show with Mary Lambert
8:30pm – 9:30pm: NOW GLOWING 5K Fun Run
9:45pm: Post Glow Show with the Goo Goo Dolls

Will there be assigned seating?
The show will be GA (General Admission) with lower level seating available on a fist come first serve basis and the floor will be standing room only.
