Tom BetGeorge lives in Tracy, and for years he’s been setting up intricuit lighting displays on his home. Usually for Christmas, but this is the third year he’s done it for Halloween. This year is Michael Jackson themed, and it’s pretty amazing.

So at first you might think that it looks a lot like a Christmas light display, and I did too. But after you watch it for a few seconds, you forget about that completely, and it’s a totally different experience. The strings of lights are synced up to Michael Jackson music, and dance around and sing with the words. Different instruments light up with different notes in the music, and “singing” pumpkins are on lyric duty.

Here’s a video of it in action:

Tom says that it’s taken him many years to get the setup going. But now that it’s all figured out, it just takes a week or two to bring out of storage and get running. If you’re interested in checking out the display, you’ve got a few more nights to do so. He’ll have it running Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 7pm to 9pm, and on Halloween night he’ll run it until 10pm. Here’s a Facebook post he made with some more information.
