New Optical Illusion Proves That We Have ‘Curvature Blindness’ [PIC]
This new optical illusion that someone discovered is messing with my head, so we had to share it here – are the lines wavy or straight?

“Curvature blindness” is the phenomenon which makes us see curvy lines as straight lines. It has to do with how our eyes see colors and shapes on contrasting backgrounds. In the illusion, a picture shows a background of 3 colors, and on top of that are sets of wavy lines. All the lines are the same shape (wavy), but they’re striped differently. Depending on which line has which stripes on which colored background, they either look like curvy lines or straight lines, despite all being the same shape.
We’ll save the more in-depth information into why this happens and get straight to what you want to see – the picture. Check it out right here. Pretty interesting, right?
