MSN.com says that a group of sceintists have made progress on a new universal flu drug that reduce the severity of the flu or block it entirely!

From the article:

“the drug inhibits a critical viral enzyme by jamming molecular machinery common to all strains.”

So far the results were only seen in lab testing but animal testing, and eventually human, “appears feasible”.
