This sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. Can you imagine looking up at the moon only to find a huge McDonald M?

A Japanese spaceflight startup company called Ispace Inc. wants to fund future missions to the moon by 2020 with the help of businesses who agree to help by having the startup place ads on the moon for them.
According to Bloomberg, the company is hoping to make it to the moon by 2020 with branding in mind.
Takeshi Hakamada, chief executive officer of Ispace, said:
“Human beings aren’t heading to the stars to become poor. That’s why it’s crucial to create an economy in outer space.”
Ispace says the initial plan is the advertise on their spacecrafts and rovers, then eventually will have a “projection mapping service” on the moon, which is like a billboard on the moon’s surface.
