As you know, our own Mark S. Allen also hosts ABC10’s Morning Blend, and this morning, on live TV, he officiated a wedding for a lovely couple.

Heather and Ryan tied the knot this morning around 6:45, with Mark officiating, on board the Delta King over in Old Sac. Heather and Ryan had been planning a wedding for some time, but had to postpone after Ryan suffered an injury with fighting a fire. He since transferred into a paramedic job, but the wedding had to be postponed once again after Heather’s brother passed away.

Well, with some work and a ton of planning, a wedding was planned in less than 24 hours. Everything came together, from a dress, to a cake, decorations, venue, and even the rings. The couple got married on TV, and then about 2 hours later, after a party and photo session, we were able to get them on the radio to talk about the experience as well. Here’s the video of the vow exchange:

Here’s what they had to say on the radio right after the ceremony:

How cool is that? It’s a first for Now 100.5 to have a wedding, officiated by the morning host, live on TV and then on the radio. Lots of careful planning that ended up giving an awesome couple a fantastic wedding.
