Lucky fans who attended San Diego Comic-Con this last weekend were surprised to run into Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, while walking the convention floor. Enjoying the sights and sounds of the huge, three-day pop culture event while in disguise to avoid attracting crowds of fans, Hamill teased his fans on social media on potential time frames and costumes he might appear in. Over the course of the three-day convention, Hamill appeared in three separate cosplay costumes, according to Entertainment Weekly.
YES- That would be me on the left. (You know, the vertically-challenged Stormtrooper.)#LovelyLadyLuke https://t.co/BuXGJmD9lD

He appeared on Friday in costume from the recently saved TV show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and full Stormtrooper gear on Saturday (referring to himself as the “vertically-challenged” stormtrooper). Many unsuspecting fans were treated to pictures and conversations with Hamill, all while unaware they were even talking with him, but a select few detective fans picked him out and were able to brag to their friends and family that they met Luke Skywalker himself.
