A new teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming sequel to the 2000 Tyra Banks film, Life-Size.

According to EW, the new trailer features similar themes and call backs to the original film, that also starred Lindsay Lohan. Tyra Banks, who produced as well as stars in the film, plays a fashion doll that is brought to life and learns about the new world around her.

This new film, coming 18 years after the original, will reportedly follow a 25-year-old CEO named Grace (grown-ish star Francia Raisa). Her character will enlist the help of Banks’ character, Eve, as she attempts to figure her own life out.

“The essence of the movie is to have this guardian looking over you, this best friend who helps you find yourself,” Raisa shared. “Grace was lost, just like [Lindsay’s character] was in the first one, and she’s found because she’s introduced to a new type of love she didn’t know she had within herself, or that people could have towards her. It has the essence of the first one, but it just grows up with everyone else.”

Lohan will reportedly not be appearing as a lead cast member in this film, according to Banks. Banks did hint, however, that Lohan’s character would have connections with this upcoming sequel. Life-Size 2 will be premiering December 2, as part of Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas.
