The Oscars are happening on March 4th, this Sunday, and there are a lot of seriously amazing movies in the running for “Best Picture.” It’s going to be a very difficult, and probably very close competition. A quick review of some of those movies up for the title are “Dunkirk,” “The Shape of Water,” Sacramento’s own “Lady Bird,” “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri,” among a handful of others. This family recreates movie scenes in the best way possible, dressing up as characters from those movies, and recreating scenes from those movies. Yes, they’ve posted the pictures for all of us to enjoy. Check out a couple samples below.

Obviously a lot of work goes into these, but what a seriously fun project for the whole family to get involved with! So there’s a good idea that you can use for a rainy day when your kids can’t go outside and are constantly calling out “Mooooommmmmm, I’m so BORRRRRRED!” You’re welcome. Just share pictures of what you create. Check out the family’s website here, and you can see all their pictures from other years. They’ve been doing this for a while. Oscar-worthy right there.
