Kelly Ripa Shows Off Chiseled Abs At Beach [PIC]

Kelly Ripa was caught at the beach with her husband Mark Consuelos over the weekend, and she’s absolutely Ripa’d (ok, that’s enough bad wordplay for this article, I think I went a little overboard already). We found a little insight to her diet and workout game, and we’re spilling the beans here. Here’s a picture of Kelly that Mark posted to his Instagram from their vacation:

Some more pictures made their rounds on snapchat, and you can see those shots – and Kelly’s stunning abs – right here. Almost just as soon as the pictures came out, we learned a little bit about Kelly’s diet, and the quick version is that she cut out junk foods completely. A source says thay Kelly eats basically nothing but healthy foods (minus her daily triple shot latte), and stays away from anything acidic.

Kelly lives a really healthy and happy life, and that’s the key to her looking so amazing. She really believes in maintaining a positive mindset and not taking on other people’s drama. And even though the house is usually pretty hectic with all the kids, Kelly always manages to make time for herself to sit quietly and meditate—even if it’s only for twenty minutes a day!… Kelly eats super clean—she never has breakfast until later in the day. But, before she goes on air she drinks a triple shot latte, which really helps give her the oomph she needs to start the day. After she finishes filming Kelly will usually have some yogurt with fresh fruit, maybe a little granola. For lunch, she prefers something light, like a grilled chicken breast with lemon, and salad, or asparagus. Then for dinner, a piece of grilled fish and vegetables… Kelly really believes that you are what you eat, and that’s why she rarely eats junk food. She is very conscious of fuelling her body with healthy, nourishing foods, and she rarely eats anything that contains a high level of acid.

That truely sounds like it takes a lot of time to prepare, but I guess if you break it down and get into the routine of keeping those sorts of things around the house it gets really easy. Kelly says that she does indulge a little bit. She has a glass of wine every day, some french fries, and even *gasp* one slice of pizza per week. I couldn’t live. Her absolute worst indulgence? Goldfish crackers. We’re starting to get a little sarcastic about indulgence/junk foods, but you can read the original story here for yourself. Kelly does look amazing, but remember, Kelly Ripa is only 47, it’s not like she’s in her 60s or 70s here. But of course there are people out there shaming her too, saying she’s “too old” to wear a bikini like that, or that she “has the body of a boy.” See some more on that here.
