The Billboard Music Awards are one of America’s most popular award shows around. This year, Kelly Clarkson opened the show with a beautiful speech.
She held back tears as she grieved about the most recent school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas. As most of you know, Kelly is a Texas native and surely has a lot of emotion towards this tragedy. In her speech, she decided that change was needed and silence was too often ignored.
