Kelly Clarkson Hosted Billboard Music Awards, While Having Appendicitis
Kelly Clarkson hosted the Billboard Music Awards recently, and reportedly carried on the show while suffering from symptoms of appendicitis.

Kelly Clarkson was reportedly suffering from appendicitis while hosting the Billboard Music Awards.
According to Us Weekly, Clarkson played off the discomfort and pain smoothly and professionally, giving now indication what she was dealing with. Additionally, Clarkson delivered standout performances during the night, in two separate musical numbers. As soon as the show was done, however, Clarkson reportedly checked in to a hospital hours later to remove her appendix.
Clarkson took to social media after the ordeal, and shared an update on her condition. “I may or may not have broken down in tears after the show from pain,” Clarkson confessed. She continued, “BUT thanks 2 all the amazing people @ Cedars-Sinai I flew home directly after the event, nailed the surgery early this morning, & feeling awesome now!”
