Johnny Depp is being sued for striking a location manager on City of Lies, his upcoming movie.
TMZ obtained the lawsuit, which was filed by Gregg “Rocky” Brooks. The incident reportedly occurred in April. After Brooks told producers that they had one more shot to finish a scene, Depp insisted on continuing filming. The fight broke out after one of the producers left to grab a police officer.
“He was 6 inches away, yelling, ‘Who are you? You have no right!’” a source told Page Six. Brooks responded, “I’m just doing my job.”

According to the lawsuit, Depp smelled of alcohol at the time. The actor then punched Brooks in the ribs and yelled, “I will give you $100,000 to punch me in the face right now.”
The movie’s director, Brad Furman, claims that the incident was overblown. He released a statement, writing:
“Johnny Depp is a consummate professional, great collaborator and a supporter of other artists. He always treats the crew and people around him with the utmost respect. Movies can be stressful, and nonevents often become exaggerated. We all love stories — there isn’t one here.”
Depp has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
