Jamie Foxx and Olivia Munn have a beautiful friendship. As a guest on Busy Philipp’s talk show, Busy Tonight, Munn recalled a sweet voicemail that Foxx left her for once.
Munn explained to Philipps that she and Foxx shared an immediate bond when they first met. “He became like a big brother to me,” she said. In particular, reports Bustle, there was a time when Munn felt down about her dating life and Foxx picked her back up.

Here’s some backstory: Munn and another celebrity were secretly dating for a few months but never discussed exclusivity. While attending the same party, the actress noticed him flirting with some other girls, which made her feel terrible. So terrible, in fact, that she left. Foxx, who was also at the party, saw what happened and left her a voicemail that said:
“Did you come out here to be somebody’s girlfriend? No. Did you come out here to be somebody’s wife? No. Did you come out here just to date this guy? No. Did you come out here to be an actress? Yes. Don’t you ever, ever let me see you cry about some guy like that ever again. Don’t you ever let some other guy make you feel like that ever again … I never want to see you let any man make you feel that small again.”
That’s some solid advice that everyone should hear.
